Details
Home made burger and chips tastes so much better than ones bought in. If you don’t have a chip pan you can easily make a temporary one by putting vegetable oil into a saucepan. The burgers can be made in advance and kept in the fridge until you are ready to cook them. The sauce in the picture is a mix of mayonnaise and piri piri sauce.

Method
- Put the minced steak, onion, horseradish and seasoning into a bowl
- Mix together well
- Take a burger press and put some mixture in, put shaped ‘patty’ on a plate
- Continue as above until all the mixture is now in a burger shape. if you don’t have a burger press, just use your hands
- Heat a little oil in a frying pan and when hot, add the patties and cook on both sides. Roughly 8 minutes per side depending on the size of the burgers
- If using a chip pan, make sure the oil is hot before adding any of the cut potatoes
- Cook them until crispy, drain and serve hot
